This custom PCAP touch monitor solution is developed for equipment manufacturers that need the touch sensor, controller, cover glass, LCD, electronics and metal enclosure to operate as one validated system. It is suitable for industrial HMIs, embedded terminals, control equipment and self-service systems where standard off-the-shelf touch settings may not match the final enclosure or electrical environment.
Ever Glory supports project-based controller selection, firmware tuning, cover-glass design, optical bonding, signal-interface configuration, grounding review and mechanical integration. Final touch-point count, glass thickness, glove operation, wet-touch performance, ESD level and environmental capability are confirmed against the approved product configuration.
Browse the capacitive touch monitor range or read the PCAP controller selection guide.
A projected capacitive touch monitor is not defined only by the sensor or touch-point count. Stable operation depends on the combined design of the PCAP sensor, controller, firmware, cover glass, LCD, bonding stack, display electronics, cables, grounding and equipment enclosure.
This product series is intended for equipment manufacturers that require application-specific integration rather than a generic desktop touchscreen. Each production configuration is defined through drawings, electrical requirements and sample validation.
The touch controller should be selected according to display size, sensor-channel requirements, report rate, cover-glass thickness, communication interface, operating system and electromagnetic environment.
A controller suitable for bare-finger operation behind thin glass may not remain stable through thick glass, with gloves or near motors and switching power supplies. Review the engineering guide to selecting a capacitive touch controller before defining the project.
Firmware tuning can adjust sensitivity, baseline tracking, noise filtering and operating modes. The required configuration depends on the final cover glass, adhesive stack, metal enclosure, grounding and surrounding electrical equipment.
Validation should be performed using the representative host system and enclosure. Bench testing of the touch panel alone cannot confirm complete-equipment performance.
Cover glass can be customized by external dimensions, thickness, shape, openings, edge processing, black border, color and customer logo. The glass drawing should define the viewing area, touch area, printing tolerance and mounting relationship.
Increasing glass thickness changes touch sensitivity and may require sensor or controller adjustments. If operation through thick glass is required, the exact stack should be tested before the design is released.
Glove operation depends on material, thickness and fit. Wet-touch performance depends on water quantity, flow, grounding, surface treatment and controller algorithm. These functions are available for project evaluation but should not be described as universal across all sizes and configurations.
For additional context, read the multi-touch and working-condition reliability guide.
Air bonding can be suitable for controlled indoor equipment with moderate optical requirements. OCA or OCR optical bonding may reduce internal reflection and improve display-stack stability where better contrast or reduced internal condensation risk is required.
The bonding process should be selected according to display size, glass structure, environment and production volume. See the industrial optical bonding guide.
Touch instability may be caused by poor grounding, noisy power, unshielded cables, metal-frame coupling, motors, relays or variable-frequency drives. The monitor and host system should be reviewed as one electrical assembly.
ESD or EMC performance must be stated with the applicable standard, test level and product configuration. Controller filtering alone does not establish compliance.
| Equipment Requirement | Recommended Structure |
|---|---|
| Customer enclosure with limited internal space | Open-frame touch display |
| Sealed front control panel | Panel-mount configuration with custom glass and gasket |
| External workstation or wall installation | Enclosed wall/VESA monitor |
| Display, touch and computer in one unit | Industrial Panel PC |
For compact embedded equipment, review the 7-inch open-frame PCAP display. For external workstations, compare the 15.6-inch enclosed touch monitor. If local computing is required, evaluate an integrated industrial Panel PC.
Controller tuning and grounding review can help integrate the monitor into machines containing motors, drives, relays and switching power supplies.
Cover-glass design, mounting points and cable routing can be matched to the console structure and operator interface.
Public terminals can be evaluated for frequent touch, customized front glass, anti-fingerprint treatment and host-system compatibility. A size-specific option is the 12.1-inch panel-mount display.
The touch system can be coordinated with compact enclosures, embedded controllers and application-specific communication interfaces.

It can be evaluated, but performance depends on glass thickness, adhesive stack, sensor design, controller and grounding. The actual glass structure must be tested.
Glove and wet-touch modes can be developed according to actual operating conditions. Validation must use the specified glove, water condition, glass and equipment enclosure.
USB, I2C and RS232 can be evaluated according to the controller and host system. The final interface is defined in the approved electrical specification.
The applicable test standard and level must be defined during project review. Validation should be completed with the monitor installed in representative equipment because grounding, cables, power and enclosure affect the result.
MOQ and lead time are project-based. They depend on size, sensor, controller, glass, bonding, LCD, electronics, housing and validation requirements.
