How to Solve Inaccurate Touch Caused by Water Stains on the Surface
1.Adopt vacuum full lamination with OCA adhesive to eliminate the air gap between the cover glass and touch layer, preventing liquid infiltration into interlayers which would otherwise cause short circuits of internal electrodes. Air-bonded structures feature gaps that easily trap water and grease, resulting in persistent erratic false touches.

2.The front face of the whole machine reaches IP65/IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating. Silicone waterproof gaskets are fitted around the screen with an integrated sealed frame, and drainage grooves are reserved at the bottom. Splashed liquid flows out directly without seeping into the touch FPC and drive board inside the equipment.

3.The touch FPC circuits are protected by potting sealant, and waterproof rubber sleeves are added to connectors to prevent leakage current and signal drift caused by moisture corrosion on circuits.

4.It collects capacitance difference values of each sensing channel in real time, identifies uniform capacitance offset generated by large-area continuous water films, automatically shields the entire interfered area, and only retains valid single-point finger touch signals to eliminate full-screen cursor jitter.

5.When full-screen or half-screen liquid interference is detected, the drifted area is temporarily locked. The shielding is automatically lifted within milliseconds after the liquid is wiped off without equipment reboot, preventing service freezes and interruptions.

6.The chip automatically distinguishes thin oil film, thick water accumulation and dry surface states, and dynamically switches the sensing trigger threshold. It raises the interference suppression threshold when water stains exist and restores normal touch sensitivity under dry conditions.

7.Screens for self-service terminals and ordering machines are tilted upward by 10°~15°, allowing surface liquid to flow off quickly by gravity and reducing water retention. A narrow rain/water baffle is installed on the top to block splashes from above and condensed water dripping from air conditioners.

How to Extend the Service Life of Touch Devices in Public Areas
1.Adopt chemically strengthened aluminosilicate glass with Mohs hardness ≥6H. Conventional hard objects such as keys, coins and plastic luggage edges cannot leave obvious deep scratches, greatly reducing daily damage from hard objects.

2.It adopts secondary ion exchange tempering technology with higher surface compressive stress, simultaneously boosting scratch resistance and impact resistance. The glass is less prone to edge chipping or cracking upon collision.

3.The periphery of the cover glass is fully rounded and polished to eliminate sharp edges. This prevents dust and dirt from accumulating in frame gaps and reduces large-area coating damage caused by chipped corners from collisions.

4.Hard silicon-based AR coating is adopted, different from ordinary soft coatings, featuring greatly enhanced film hardness and adhesion. Even with minor scratches, the coating will not peel off in patches, avoiding mottled local reflection and grayscale distortion. Combined with low-reflection optical parameters, it maintains clear visibility for long-term use.

5.Equipped with high-durability AF coating deposited by plasma technology, it withstands over ten thousand times of steel wool wiping and resists light scratches from metal hard objects. Uniformly bonded to the hard AR underlayer, the coating hardly peels off in large areas. It delivers consistently smooth touch feeling over long-term use; oil stains and water marks can be wiped away effortlessly without local stuttering during sliding operations.

6.The AR base layer and AF top layer are deposited in one single vacuum evaporation process, delivering strong interlayer adhesion. The coating withstands frequent wiping and disinfection with 75% alcohol, disinfectant wipes and dishwashing detergent, without rapid coating degradation caused by regular cleaning.

7.The cover glass is recessed 2–3 mm inward from the metal frame to form a physical protective ledge. Luggage, metal trolleys and keys will only rub against the metal frame instead of directly scratching the screen surface horizontally, blocking most sources of hard abrasion.

FAQ
1.Q: Will the screen get scratched easily by keys or trolleys in daily use?
A: The cover glass is chemically strengthened aluminosilicate glass with Mohs hardness ≥6H via secondary ion exchange tempering. Deep scratches are hard to be left by keys, coins and luggage edges. Besides, the glass is recessed 2–3 mm inside the metal frame to form a protective ledge, so hard objects only rub against the frame and direct abrasion on the screen is greatly reduced.

2.Q: Will the coating peel off or become mottled after frequent disinfection with alcohol and disinfectant wipes?
A: The AR base layer and AF top layer are formed through one-time vacuum evaporation with strong interlayer adhesion. The coating stands repeated wiping and cleaning with 75% alcohol, disinfectant wipes and dishwashing liquid, and will not peel off in patches, avoiding mottled reflection and unsmooth touch over long-term use.

3.Q: Are the glass edges prone to chipping or cracking under frequent collisions in public areas?
A: Secondary ion exchange tempering brings higher surface compressive stress to improve scratch and impact resistance. All four edges are fully rounded and polished to remove sharp corners, so chipping and edge cracking rarely happen upon collision, and dust and dirt buildup in gaps is also reduced.

4.Q: Is the oleophobic AF coating wear-resistant? Will the touch feel rough after long-time mass touch operation?
A: The high-durability AF coating is deposited by plasma technology, enduring over 10,000 times of steel wool wiping and resisting slight scratches from metal items. Oil and water stains can be wiped off easily, delivering consistently smooth sliding touch without local stuttering.

5.Q: What is the difference between the hard AR coating and ordinary soft coatings? Will the display effect degrade after long-term use?
A: Our silicon-based hard AR coating differs from common soft coatings. It hardly peels off in large areas even with minor scratches, preventing mottled local reflection and grayscale distortion. Stable low-reflection optical parameters ensure clear visibility permanently.
